Maria Perez

                                                      
Maria Perez is the owner and resident artist at the New Art Gallery. She works on excitingly varied commissioned pieces, covering children and pet portraits, abstracts such as Irregular choice shoes and Sunflower marmite to landscapes and flowers, specialising in red roses.

Maria was brought up in London and did her formal art training at Barnet Art College in 1985 establishing a life long passion for creating individual pieces of art.

It is evident that her Spanish roots and love for travel are a source of inspiration to her with the vibrancy of colours she applies as well as the subjects she paints.

Aug 2009 she had a solo exhibition at the architects practice in the Tecton Centre, Fenny Stratford. Since Feb 2010 she has converted the main reception and entire ground floor of the amazing building into a successful gallery which not only exhibits her artwork but that of many new local artists too.
